Google Translate printing

Anyone know how to print something off? I’ve got an online French manual that I want to translate into English and Google does it, but I can’t seem to find any way to print anything other than the first page. I’ve tried using This Frame and print and also going into the options and calling up print there, but neither work for any of the other pages.

Low-tech, I know, but I copy/paste paragraph by paragraph into a word document. I can then edit it into something that vaguely resembles real language, too.

Yeah, thought of that, but the problem is a lot of it is in columns/tables and when pasted gets all mixed up. Might be able to do column by column, but not sure.

There is an option to keep the formatting when you paste to Word. It may need some twicking but its mostly ok

I use Open Office, not Word.

If you sent me the link i can try and do it at work tomorrow if you want

Thanks gata. This is the French link

It’s typical of course. I was just going to start translating it ready for our holiday in a few weeks’ time so we can set a vacation mode on the boiler while we’re away and the hot water has suddenly packed up this morning. No obvious problem so will probably have to call the installer out to have a look at it.

Hi MF

This workaround seems to work :

1. Right click the translated text and 'saves as' WEB PAGE COMPLETE on your desktop

2. Open the folder that was created, and double click the largest file. It opens a web page with the address "file:///C:/Users/NJ/Desktop/Google%20Translate_files/translate_p.html"

3. This is now printable. I made a PDF using Foxit PDF Creator.

Trying to attach the resultant file, but EF says 'upload failed' w7o assigning reasons

https://www.capture-screenshot.org/snipping-tool/

trying attaching again...this time the HTML..

No luck : Invalid file..

Not seeing that save option when I right click on the text.

I will try tomorrow and let you know. If i do manage, its no problem to stick it in an envelope and sent it over

Using Chrome:

Left click anywhere in the translated text section. Press Ctrl-A to select everything. Right click and select Print.

Not using Chrome. IE10 or Firefox.

Thanks sva. Managed to get a PDF of the translation organised for me.

Ok i tried but i couldnt do it. At least you found it another way
