Just seen this: Steve Lee, lead singer of Swiss group Gotthard was killed in a motorbike accident in Nevada.
If I've understood the article correctly, the group had stopped to put on their rain kit and a passing car with a trailer skidded, the trailer hit the five motor bikes and one of the bikes crashed into Steve Lee. He wasn't even riding at the time. One of those very, very unfortunate 'chain reactions'.
That's really a bad news.

This is very Final Destination. Two months ago, he was also involved in an accident near Florence, which got his wife severely injured but he walked away without a scratch.
Very sad news and a black day for Swiss music.
Gotthard Star Lee Killed In Traffic Crash
GOTTHARD frontman STEVE LEE has been killed in a roadside crash in Nevada. He was 47.
The Swiss singer was taking part in a road trip across the U.S. with other motorcycle enthusiasts when they stopped on the side of a highway approximately 50 miles (80 kilometres) outside of Las Vegas to change into their wet-weather gear.
But the rest stop on Tuesday (05Oct10) ended in tragedy when a truck towing a trailer skidded and clipped the bikes at the side of the road. Lee died at the scene. His girlfriend Brigitte Voss-Balzarini and Gotthard bassist Marc Lynn are said to have been among the group of bikers present at the time of the crash.
The singer rose to fame in the 1990s with the Swiss rock group and released nine albums with the band. Their chart success in their native Switzerland made Gotthard one of the country's most successful bands of all time.
Chris von Rohr, the bassist for fellow Swiss rock band Krokus, has paid tribute to the musician, telling Germany's Blick, "I am speechless; I don't know even know what to say. I express my deepest condolences to his parents."

Wow, horrible Gotthard was huge in CH, they just played the "Miss Switzerland " pageant last week. I never knew he was half British. Hope he "finds his way to heaven"
I'd never heard of this guy until yesterday when I saw the article written in Swiss German that was left on the train that I was travelling home on last night. Oddly enough there was also an article about Switzerlands love of guns in the same paper. So it was a real coincidence that the only Steve Lee that I could find on You Tube today,was singing this awful song about loving guns. I know that there is no connection between the two Steve Lees but a wierd connection never the less.
