Does anyone know where to buy/order grass grids?
Either in Switzerland or in Germany?

Hornbach sell black mats like that; but I not sure they'll have the effect your looking for. We have black mats on a path that is very overgrown, now turning into lawn; although it doesn't take much for the grass to become mud.
They are intended for cars no? not dogs...
Is the heavy use of the lawn by the dog coming from boisterous running about and zoomies, etc? If so, I'm not sure how comfortable they'd be on claws and pads running about over an extended period, despite them sinking down level or just below the surface of the grass.
I always worried that while doing the zoomies one of The Thundering Herd might catch a paw in anything that either made a hole in the ground or raised from the surface, causing injury.
But I haven't seen these installed, so that might not be an issue. Just something to think about.

As I look out at my sad lawn, criss-rossed by mud trails thanks to the Muttley Crew, I am continually looking for solutions.
Ditto - my happy little miss has literally etched out a zoomie race track. I love seeing her so happy but it's such a shame for what was once a nice green lawn!
They don't "sink" - to install these, you need to till up all your soil, lay a layer of gravel (for water dissipation), then sand, then these grids, then you fill it with soil. Wait a week for it all to compact (or use a vibration plate), and then more soil + seeds/sowing.
So they end up "flush" with the (hard) ground.
My dog does zoomies when the maillady comes (from the side of the garden where he can se her coming in, to the opposite side by the door, to the other side of the house as she leaves).
Part of that is over a paved "stone" part - which he doesn't seem to care about.... so I think these would be pretty similar to that... but I'll report back in a few months, need to find a rototiller to rent now
