Does anybody have any experience of this website? I was advised to use it vs Ricardo for cheap items as it is less onerous from a contractual standpoint.
I bought stuff from gratisinserate. It is actually better because, if you try to find deals close to you like I did, you get to see the product without buying like on ricardo and many posts have already a cell phone number. Like with tutti.ch you still need to be careful...
Well nothing bad...have not had any bad experience but you exchange sms's for example and try to see if it is just some stupid kid without ricardo account
I bought an iPhone from a guy from gratisinserate. I sent him an sms...met in Uster...checked it...bought it...bye
I guess with every online service you need to be lets say...cautious
With ricardo you have buyer protection and 24/7 system where they monitor scammers. Much more exposure and lots more products...
If you try to sell, don't bother with Anibis and others... You will get low ball offers and crazy prices on stuff to sell. Ricardo by far is the best platform.
The advice I got re Ricardo was that for lots of cheap items now there are people who come from abroad in a van to fill up and take stuff home for 20/30/40 CHF and that they wait until they have a van load before they come. This can be annoying if you are trying to get rid of stuff quickly or on a particular day, but you can't "pull out" because you are contractually bound to sell
Have sold a few items on Gratis-inserate and I have bought as well. The advantage is there is no selling fee and it is easier to make contact as you can publish your phone number and internet links giving more product information (which is forbidden in Ricardo).
You can also use it to advertise if you are looking for an item, which can also be helpful.
Plus one thing the others didn't mention... there are some things you can purchase on tutti and gratis inserate which you can not buy on ricardo like food, pets, partners Also, they are not auction sites...
Same here, I like it. It is very straightforward and easy to use, and so far I have only had positive experiences both as a buyer and a seller. Of course caution and common sense are needed, but thats normal.
Everytime I want to use Ricardo my password is expired, I need to re-activate my account, call them etc. Too complicated for low value stuff.
