Gym Lausanne - pay per session?

Hi,

Does anyone know of a Gym in Lausanne where I could possibly pay per session?

Or even a reasonable per month amount?

Preferably in the Centre (near flon)

I don't know about paying per session, but Fit-Point cost 55,- per month (or 50,- if you pay for a year) which where the cheapest I found. The adress is Rue Marterey 5 ( www.fit-point.ch

It's the same chain as Let's Go, but cheaper because they don't have classes (spinning, pilates etc.). But they have machines for cardio and strength and free weights as well. Hope this helps :-)

I think you at least have to sign up for 6 months. But I'm not sure. When you sign up, there is a fee on 100,- but maybe you'll be able to negotiate - I paid for a year, and didn't have to pay the 100,-

Last week i went down to Let's Go to enquire about precisely the same thing (paying per session or per month). I was told i had to join for a minimum of 6 months at a cost (which included use of equipment and classes) of CHF 590.

I guess it might be cheaper if you just wanted to use the gym equipment.

Having said that, an important reason for me wanting to join was so that i could use the treadmill (i wanted an indoor option for running while it was snowing outside), but i noticed that there was only 1 machine!

I eventually decided it wasn't worth it for me and i have started using the Mon Repos swimming pool instead.

Yearly abonnement of I think 300 chf year to use all swimming indoor-outdoor installations in Lausanne and Pully makes this an attractive alternative.

just called Fit Point and the system is like this:

1 month 100CHF

for 6 months it's 510CHF

for 12 months it's 12x55CHF. It means that you sign an engagement, you pay 55CHF and 19CHF (for your card) for the first month and then every month you pay 55CHF.

out of the 4 gyms they have I had to call 3 until I found one where somebody spoke a lil English.

The Fitness park in Malley also allows to pay per session, or buy a 10 entrance ticket. But it is quite expensive (around 30.-/ticket), as it gives you access to all the equipment/swimming pool/classes/sauna/hammam.

However the quality is excellent: it is big and clean.
