Gym- Zürich-per month/3month memberships?

Please give ideas or links if it is a gym where you already go or know well about. I need One for the time being, which has a per month or max 3 month payment contract, if anyone knows that and how much it costs for a 1 or 3 months membership. Thank you.

Airgate in Oerlikon is 129.- a month. You can pay per month. I think there is a startup fee but cant remember how much. Pretty sweet gym.

Picking up this thread again - does anyone know if this is still the case? Airgate is a chain, is it only the one in Oerlikon that has short term memberships?

Sorry wait - airgate is not the chain but TC is.

the fitnesspark stockerhof (dreikoenigstrasse) offers 10er abos (10 entries for about Fr330 within 1 year).

I use it as a base in winter for runs up to Adlisberger & Herrenholz forests, followed by sauna etc @ Stockerhof. when I haven't used all 10 entries within 12 mos, they've added them on to a new 10er Abo

I've seen Migros Fitness Park have those too. Well see ideally I'd wanna go to the gym at least four times a week during this two months period - so then it would almost be cheaper to have a full membership I think..

Thank you for your answer!

It is a migros fitnesspark.

If you're going to live there for 2 months it'll cost ya.

I don't know what you're after, but it's a good place, has good facilities.

If you want the equipment (cardio, weights) I've noticed that they are rammed at peak times (midday, early eve).

The good thing about the 10er Abos is that you can use the other locations eg, Puls 5, which is good when we want to run along the Limmat

My searching has yielded some results - with David Gym ZH West I am able to take up a 2-month membership (should anyone find themselves in the same situation.)

Hi Tove,

How is your experience at David gym so far? I am trying to decide on a gym to join...

Thanks,

I can really recommend David gym!

- generous opening hours 6-22 weekdays, 8-20 weekends

- I always find a parking spot

- the place is huge, you never have to wait for a machine to get ready (only been there once during rush hour - but they have multiple versions of all machines)

- I haven't tried their classes, but it seems they have a great variety of martial arts, aerobics and more

- it is clean and neat

- I like that there are a lot of big (muscle wise people training there), I find it inspiring

- they have saunas (a northener like me need one - and that the gym had one was an unexpected serious bonus)

- you can buy nutrition there as well (haven't checked the prices yet though)

All in all - great service and great environment. I really find it worth my buck, (I got a special deal so I pay 300 for 2 months - it's not cheap but it is definitely worth it).
