Hello everyone,
I need to have a small gynecological operation done, so I was wondering whether anyone here can recommend Dr. Johannes Bitzer, Dr. Christian de Geyter, or some other Basel Frauenspital doctor? Any information, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated!
(I was originally planning to try and get a referral to Dr. Sartorius, who was recommended here earlier, but I cannot find his contact information in www.doktor.ch or the Frauenspital homepage - maybe he doesn't accept new patients, or doesn't work in Basel anymore?)
If you are just after the pill and use Swica Healthcare I can recomend you book an appointment there at the health centre near the Elizabethan Church in Basel. The GP's there will prescribe you the pill without needing to go to the Gynae !

hi, i'll be moving to Basel in January 2012 and my baby is due end February. any recommendations for the following:
1) OB/GYN, an English speaking doctor who is for natural births & has an interest/knowledge in hypnobirthing
2) Hospital with a birthing stool
3) Pediatrician (preferably in the same hospital as birth)

I can recommend Dr Helene Denzler-Boesiger, she was mentioned in the thread already before. I can only second that post, she is great and speaks excellent English.
