Hair dressers- Bern

Dear All,

I am hoping to have my hair trimmed and highlighted in Bern. I don't expect the place to be staffed with English-speaking Swiss but I would be grateful if anyone would recommend a good quality place to go.

I don't mind the cost particularly - I have long hair which is not often attended to so I don't mind saving up the annual cost for one big splurge.

I would like good quality highlights. Anyone got any preferences I can learn from?

Merci,

Rachel

Try Vogue in Berne http://www.voguehair.ch/

A friend says it is good. Graham.

Oh yes: www.aernibern.ch

Not cheap but always a good result in an elegant and cool atmosphere.

Good luck!

My absolute favorite hairdresser:

Carmen @ TAJ MAHAAR, Monbijoustrasse, Bern

She is a traveller and does speak English!

Does anyone know good hair dresser in Bern but not too expensive, normal prices.

Do you find any difference in doing hair here comparing to your countries? In my case difference is enormous. I find here they do not know how to cut hair or blow dry.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

I'm more than happy with www.aernibern.ch

They know how to cut and do hairbrushings and may be they even have someone from your home country in their team.

Ask for Frau Garic - she's magic hands!

Not cheap but their personel has good and continuous education.

Good luck

Thank you for reply, and what means they are not cheap. For example what is price of hair cut, I dont have a clue?

Thanks

I go to 'Stars' hairdresser, 21 Speichergasse, Bern. About Fr 25,--

Mark Simon, Langmauerweg 11b, 3011 Bern. 031 311 75 80.

I have not been there personally but I heard it is very good. Not sure how expensive.

Thanks!

It's November 30, 2015 and I can HIGHLY recommend Jaël Bürki. She works at G Vision at the Hirschengraben location (it's literally a five-minute walk from the main train station). You don't need an appointment because G Vision doesn't require them. Just show up, ask for her, and if you need to wait...there's a great coffee shop next to it (Glanz).

She understands English and she will definitely take her time to do it well.

Best in Bern and I tried a few...disasters.
