Does anyone know a really good hair salon in Zug?? I've been here for months and now I'm desperate for a haircut... but I'm quite picky. I have very think long hair and I need a hairdresser that can cut good layers. There seems to be salons everywhere... but don't know which ones I can trust. Help!!
I can recommend Sofia Fernandes, Zeughausgasse 15.
She's a young Portuguese, and me and my friends are really happy about our new haircuts. None of us has long hair but I'm sure that won't be a problem. I can give you her phone number if you'd like. I don't know whether she speaks any English though!
I use Salon Louis in Reiffergässli 2, Zug, behind Credit Suisse. 041 711 12 50
Ask for Louis - he is a professional and does great layers. He will tell you what will look good if you ask. CHF 95 for wash cut and style. You get what you pay for in Zug. I paid CHF 70 once in Postrasse. The girl had little experience and couldn't even cut my hair straight let alone layers
I'm also looking for a good hairdresser in Zug, my hair is hi lighted blonde and in a bob shape, also I am picky, but going back to the UK every few weeks is not practical any more. Any serious replies would be great! Thanks
My hair is also in a bob shape and blond highlighted.... After trying and testing - I started going to 'Haar' in Oberageri - its across the small COOP and I'm really happy with the results.... So maybe if you would want to try them.... They speak english and the hairdresser (blond also and I forgot her name - I am terrible with names) also studied in the UK.... Dont know if you know Oberageri?
Elmienb. I don't know Oberageri but I will certainly check the place out. Baar is closer to me so I will check out Headcase first. Thanks Heckenhocker. I'm a bit picky about my hair so I hope that between these 2 places I can find a good place. Thanks both
I see that this thread has been around for a while, but would like to suggest Manolo Coiffure & Beauty in Zug, across the street from Metalli. My stylist is Romina and I love the way she immediately makes me feel comfortable. She speaks Spanish and Swiss German, not so much English, but is very bright, and willing to ask for help communicating with me from one of the English speaking stylists. She is warm and friendly, and despite my inability to speak the language of this country yet, we communicate with the universal language of smiles, laughter, and gestures. There are other stylists there who speak English, and I have never seen anyone getting a bad haircut in the three times I have been there. I highly recommend!
My friend recommended me Vito in Hair&Beauty in Baar, but he's the chef there and fully booked till the middle of March now, which really makes me curious, so I will definitely try there later. But I need my hair cut by the end of the next week..
Did anyone checked out on Toni&Guy in Zug? Or maybe there's someone else who can come up with ideas for long hair and cut it really good?
