Are you: Asking if there is a halal butcher's shop near the train station; Asking if anyone has any experience of buying meat from the halal butcher's shop near the train station; or Advertising the halal butcher's shop near the train station?
For information, be aware that Halal meat is a bit different in Switzerland, as halal slaughter is illegal here. Animals have to be stunned first here, but an Imam is present to pray. If you want traditional Halal you will have to go to nearby France. There is a big halal slaughter house/butchers in Pontarlier, about 1 hour from Lausanne.
Remember though that the customs officers at Ballaigue/Vallorbe do check regularly that legal limits are not exceeded, eg 500gr per person per day of meat, and 3kg of prepared meats like sausages and poultry (300CHF per import - make sure you have separate receipts per person, and not just one combined one).
Be aware that most Halal food in Switzerland, in shops and restaurants alike, comes from the state-owned Halal slaughterhouse in Besançon. Halal slaughter may be illegal but importing Halal food is NOT ! This is how the many Turkish and Arab restaurants here overcome the problem
and it of course also is the source of Jewish restaurants and Jewish households, not least as it is
"controlé par le Haut-Rabbinat de Paris" ... the Supreme Rabbi of Paris indeed is a unique personality also in high esteem among Arabs. He at times is on French TV (Fri/Sat) ... as the chap is old, I hope, his successor is of equal stature
I used this link to find halal food in Bern, it worked but I was hesitant if it is really halal or not, as the guy was saying everything halal halal, but I felt that this was not the case.
The link has list of all halal shops / restaurants in Switzerland, but please try to make some more investigation (if you can) if the seller is trustworthy or just cheating - difficult to do ofcourse but I had to mention it.
Thanks for the info. We drove to villers le lac this afternoon and found a super market (ATAC,7 Rue Pierre Bercot, 25 130 Villers-le-Lac).They have halal meat.
Next time we plan to go a bit further in to france to explore.
