Hi, Is there any supermarket that sell halal meat like chicken, beef, mutton in Switzerland. Will be travelling for a week there in 2018!
Yes there are many. You will have no problem finding Halal meat.
Thank you so much
I dont know first hand, but i heard halal meat is extremely expensive in Switzerland so be prepared. Can someone prove me wrong please?
I can't prove it here but I can tell you that I have noticed that it is actually cheaper in the shop I used to go here in Winterthur.
Which reminds me, I think I'll pop in there tomorrow. They got a bakery and fresh baklawas too ..... more sugar who cares
Likewise when there was a shop here.

Which area are you going to?
Swiss halal meat is not the same as French halal (Swiss animals have to be electrically stunned first).
Not if it's imported.

Unfortunately true
The Turkish store in Neuchatel sells Halal meat at normal prices, they also have IMHO the best home made merguez I've ever found.
Checkout Turkish stores in other Swiss towns.
There are many, particularly in Geneva and Zurich. Also keep in mind that kosher meat is by default also halal, so that could be an option too.
Many Turkish markets are selling meat from producer "SILA", which claims that their meats are HALAL and also certified by Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV).
p.s. TDV certified the way of slaughtering after a certain doze of electrical shock which does not kill the animal
There is Sila Market at Tramstrasse 10, 8050 Zürich
Any Halal meat(chicken) shops in Wil,St.Gallen or nearby to Uzwil?
a week? and this is your biggest concern? can't you do without meat for a week if needed?
Is there a school where you could learn some manners?
And you are...?
Back?

Answered already .
Mods, please close thread.
You didn't buy much meat here, did you. It says no such thing on the meat sold in Swiss markets. Or maybe you can't read and just assumed it says so on the packaging?
What? Why should they close the thread? ROFL.
The question will be a subject for many more people in all kinds of regions of Switzerland.
The only thing I wonder, as the last one said she will travel here for one week: Will she eat the halal meat raw? Or ask where it's allowed to make an open fire next?
