As above are there any HAlfords equiv or cheap tool shops about, need to repair bike need some spanners etc.
there is no halfords equiv here, in oerlikon your best bet is coop home and hobby in the 'new' bit of oerlikon
The coop is however not cheap. I typically go to the Bauhaus in Schlieren.

Quality of tools from Aldi/Lidl is very poor. Also the cheaper tool sets from Bau Hobby are almost useless.
It's not particuarly convenient but it would probably be worth a trip to Obi (or similar) in Germany if you were looking to purchase several pieces and perhaps get some other household stuff as well. Prices and quality of their "Lux" brand are good and you can get the 19% MWSt back.
Using low quality tools on expensive parts is very bad news. The first time you round off a chain ring or rotor bolt you'll be cursing.
Not sure if there is a Hornbach near you as that is my husbands second home!!!!!!!
The nearest to Zurich is just outside Lachen. Probably a bit of a trek just to save a few francs on tools.
