I used to buy Hanro and Calida as they used to be of fairly good quality, especially Hanro. I especially liked that the underwear could be washed at higher temperatures. But I have mixed experience with both brands in the last 2-3 years. Some items were fine but others of rather mediocre quality, i.e. easily worn off, 1 item even with holes despite fairly gentle washing as I was washing it with some more sensitive items.
I guess I won't be purchasing them any longer. While I am aware that many brands have decreased quality in recent decades I was still hoping some would stick with quality.
Any suggestions for other good underwear+ pyjamas brands of nice materials that are durable?
For example Zimmerli is a no go for me. Even though of nice appearance at first they are too fragile and hence not suitable for the intended use for my preferences.
Blue Lemon all the way. Once you sleep in Blue Lemon, you will never go back. And I wash at normal 40 degrees, just no tumble dry. They aren’t cheap and don’t last forever but the super super softness makes up for that.
ISA is OKish, somewhat similar to Calida though inferior to Hanro. Similar to Calida and Hanro, ISA also has better and lower quality items. Huber and Mey would be in the same batch for me. Mixed quality with some excellent, some so-so items.
I've tried some Migros items and were OK though they were not M-budget and only underwear. Coop was of low durability which was a surprise to me given that Coop Naturaline's kids selection is of quite decent quality, better than Migros kids bio (though designs used to be much prettier before for both Coop and Migros, but especially Coop).
Blue Lemon pyjama did indeed stay soft even when we threw it away though it did lose on colour and form (40 degrees, no tumble dryer). I'd say average durability.
CK only had 1 pyjama, was not of good quality. Never had UA.
And I am myself surprised how many items I've tried throughout the years. I feel old now
