I have only flagged one post. I didn’t select for it to be hidden. It wasn’t hidden.
I wrote to the poster explaining why I thought their post was crass.
I had tried to do it in a post reply but someone was flagging all my posts so they were hidden.
But the main reason is I now proudly have the First Flag Award/Badge to add to my collection along with a multitude of other badges.
This whole social credit logic is repulsive. Although I enjoyed renaming the thread.
Yes, I have also learned that we shouldn’t buy a BMW, not now not ever… 
Frankly I had a relatively positive view on this car brand…but now it’s changed.
Glad you found a thread about violence and aggression against cyclists so amusing and that your self-importance was such that you could change the title to mock them.
And you also think it’s okay to run over cyclists who get in motorists way.

I have been thinking about her a lot on the bicycle thread.
I’m sure her parents are delighted with your view that the subject of people getting knocked off their bikes is one of mockery and “taking the piss”.

All I did was point out to you that the fact that @komsomolez was clearly taking the piss appeared to have gone over your head. I never said I agreed with it.

In the meantime, both Taylor Swift and Pearl Jam released new albums. This forum made me listen to Taylor Swift and I admit this forum was wrong, she’s unlistenable. Yes, the word exists. And Pearl Jam…what an amazing album! Well done you! Even if one’s not a fan, Dark Matter (the latest one just released), but even more so the previous one (Gigaton) are amazing musical poetry.

Hey, that was low. That whole bike thread is a mess of subtle attacks, dry humour and complete misunderstanding / misinterpretation of a subject that most people agree on.
Those flies were brilliant and what a legacy! Let’s not use Begga’s sad death as a means to an end.

Maybe I should have written "Anyone who has lost a family member due to a cycling accident should see that a thread discussing cycle safety and ways to improve it, is not the right place for, ‘taking the piss’.
What about the rest of my post? When a forum member (@BelgianMum) criticises my posts, why am I not allowed the right to reply?
To me she quite a vindictive posting style which I haven’t said up to now.

@Olygirl: People have been flagging and hiding many of my posts which were replies to posts against mine -many quite personal. I prefer, if I can, like you to post what I feel openly about a post on the forum.
To that end, I thought, on a thread on cycle safety, a xenophobic/racist video which had absolutely nothing to do with cycling, was totally out of place on that thread, and indeed the forum.
This is an International English speaking forum for people living in Switzerland.
What may have a place at the Stammtisch in inner Schwyz has no place here.
Why did nobody flag and hide that post? Why didn’t the mods?
This post, like all my others will probably be flagged and hidden. If @Phil_MCR had a subscription service for his forum then I’d be asking for a partial refund.
Dunno what’s your musical preference, but if you’re into hip hop, the new Chinese Man (we’ve been here before) is really good and in general, French hip hop tends to be the best hip hop these days (yeah, I said it!). Alternatively, as said, Pearl Jam’s Gigaton* is absolutely stunning, amazing and great (albeit “old”).
*Eddie Vedder invented a special font for the vinyl and the poetry there is beautifully stunning.
Making light of violence against cyclists and thinking it is ok to “take the piss” is pretty despicable too.
You ought to get off your high horse and read the posts where people have been attacked and injured on and off their bikes and explain why that’s so funny.
On topic, the cycling thread generally confirmed my perception of you. My opinion on [painted] bike lanes might still change if you provide evidence that riding on bike lanes in more risky than having no bike lane.
You had every right to flag that video and can still do so. However, I defend it only because it targetted BMW drivers and all others as well. Please feel free to have it deleted.
Not bike lanes - painted bike lanes. Segregated bike lanes with a physical barrier of some sort are safest.
