Has anyone used Rosetta Stone online subscription

I am looking to refine my German a bit. Have taken some courses in the past, but am considering a learn-from-home program, such as Rosetta Stone, Duolingo, etc.

I did a search and tested some demos from the different methods and see that Rosetta Stone now has an online/app version which seems very reasonably priced. For example, the 36 month online subscription is "reduced" to USD 229.

- Does anyone have experience with the online version (as opposed to the CD's)

- Can I "skip" levels if need be? I am around B1/B2, so I don't want to start from scratch, but could use some refreshers in some areas. Is it flexible?

- Any other thoughts about the method itself, as well as the online experience?

Thanks in advance!

If you are already at B1 level you'd be better off getting a tutor rather than wasting your money on Rosetta Stone. Try finding one on iTalki.com I promise you it will be more efficient than a computer program! Lesson are over Skype.

I have used the Rosetta on line course and I liked it. However Duo is free so I'm using that at the moment.

If you are already at B1/B2 the standard Rosetta course will be no good to you, go for the advanced course http://www.rosettastone.co.uk/lp/rsa...lr8aArWW8P8HAQ

I'm also thinking about buying RS.. I have a "free version" of it but since the proper versions are half price right now, was tempted.

But again trying to work out what's best, online, download etc? Online seems to have mobile apps? Also an advanced version which seems to mean more flexible, rather that advanced as in B2/C1 ..
