Yesterday, I commented on a tweet on Twitter and got a reply from the Grok AI
I replied, and then we had a brief exchange of views with Grok finally admitting I had a good point.
It was about Trump’s new healthcare plan proposing giving money directly to people to organize their own healthcare.
My point was that it is overly optimistic to believe insurers’ premium prices will come down as a result.
If you had told me some years ago that I would have a conversation with an AI, I would have called you crazy.
Grok is smarter than most politicians, apparently.
Most AIs have been programmed to empathise. Donny is not impressed, he would be much happier if Grok had called you piggy.

I would say it is a form of Köpenik syndrom where we take orders from perceived authority as authentic without questioning their validity and it would seem that we are quite willing to see AI as an leader entity.
What worries me is that we, the old farts, can seperate AI from reality, but those now growing up with AI integrated will not be able to.
Perhaps the world of THX1138 is in our species future.
