Health food markets, ideas please. Raw vegan lifestyle

It's called 'hardening off'. I don't use fleece with vegetable seedlings, only with lilies and palms, particularly long stemmed lilies such as Stargazers.

There's little point nurturing seedlings to have them wiped out within days of planting them out.

Thanks a lot for the information. I read both links and it makes sense.

Do you know where a good place is to buy Organic zucchini seeds?

http://zollinger-samen.ch

You can probably find cheaper sources on eBay - but it's a nice, small, Swiss company. They seem to produce all their seeds on their own farm.

And AFAIK the seeds are not hybrids, so you can make your own seeds from tomatoes etc.

I only ordered once (for my parents, two years ago or so) but I received the goods very fast - with no advance payment.

Great share, I appreciate it. It's assuring that you used their service previously and were satisfied.

Thx so much Blueangel for all the info. I shared it with my hubby (nicolas) as he is a team leader in that department so he took over with the questions... Here is the picture of our organic strawberries we grew in South Africa

Nice!

This is the only photo I can find of our courgette plants. We had an attack of blackfly before the fruit grew, but transfered a few ladybirds over to cure that. I was fascinated by the flowers. Much nicer than courgettes

Oh wow pretty and large

If you prefer the flower, eat the flower.

Zurich Glattzentrum: Reformhaus

Coop & Migros: Organic veggs and fruit

I can also recommend a great fb group "Veganer in Zurich und umgebung" - there are always some interesting posts and if you have any questions you can always ask in English

Wow, I have nt been to the threat for a while and just came in to see this. Well I actually am doing my masters in Geneva now, and I can find better vegan food. I go to France at times for affordable food, to be honest. I also learned to be a good cook, I started a youtube channel for vegan recipes since I fond myself to be extremely creative. I miss sunshine though!

Kaspar Kunz sold his first business called http://www.kunzvital.ch/ , which has moved to the French (Westschweiz) speaking part of Switzerland. Now he calls himself http://www.frohkost.ch/ still at the old location in 8620 Wetzikon ZH.

You just should visit one of the Alnatura shops. The range on vegan products - including a huge variety of vegan chocolate- is not that bad in my opinion. I can find anything I want and if they don't have it, they tell you where you can find.

Alnatura has great peanut butter in big jars. Nothing but peanuts. Good stuff.

hi denizzz

thanks so much for the reply... yes love Alnatura the best alternative to raw plant options

I just ran across this while looking for something else, it may be of interest to people in and around Zurich:

https://www.stadt-zuerich.ch/ted/de/...ng.html#hoengg

Sorry, German only. It is a list with contact details of all the farms in and near Zürich with a list of certification, and products.
