Is there a special name for them in German/Swiss German?
I've searched the forums to no avail - possibly because I'm not sure what they're called elsewhere - but does anyone know where I could buy one of these? The little pillow things filled with wheat that you heat in the microwave for sore necks/backs etc.
They are called Weizenkissen, Dinkelkissen (depending on the grain used) or simply Körnerkissen.
One can usually find them at an Apotheke - but sometimes also at Tchibo, Coop, Migros, or Manor or a Reformhaus. Check Amazon as well.
ETA:
I *think* I've heard them called Wärmekissen as well - but be sure to specify that you mean grain-filled.
Many thanks - very much appreciated.
I'm trying my best to get out there and find things out myself as much as I can, but I have to admit that sometimes it all gets a bit overwhelming and I just need to ask someone.
