HEC Lausanne offers a Master in Science, does anyone know whether a bachelor in Business Administration with specialisation in economics would also be an equivalent to (a Bachelor’s degree from a Swiss university in Economics, Management, Finance or Information Systems), as posted on their website?

I applied to HEC Lausanne in late January; received the confirmation on January 28. I still haven't received the decision. Has there been any one else who's still waiting for their decision?
Since, I am an international student (non-EU), I'd have to apply for Visa as well. Will it be appropriate to call/email AdCom for inquiring about the status of my application?

I've applied to HEC Lausanne as an international student, and still waiting for a reply.
I got the confirmation on January 28th, too, but still haven't heard from them.
I was contacted by the admission officer in February asking for my Fall 2013 grades, which I ended up sending in mid-Feb, and that's about it.
They've precisely asked us not to contact them to inquire about the status of our applications in the confirmation e-mail...

I've got a quick question. Some of you mentioned receiving a confirmation email for your application? I've got no such emails... should i be worried and contact them? I actually sent my envelop to my friend and let her give it to the office in person. Can that be the reason?

Hi guys, I've been lurking around the forums here for a while but thought it was worthwhile to leave a message. I received a confirmation per email when my application package was received by UNIL's admissions office, and was also informed in the beginning of May that the applications were forwarded to HEC (presumably after the April 30 application deadline). HEC's admission decisions will probably be sent out in a few weeks, according to the admissions office.

Are you a non-EU applicant? When did you receive confirmation of receipt of your application package?
I'd received the confirmation on January 28 and still haven't heard from them (be it regarding forwarding my application package to HEC).
I thought they'd process applications of non-EU candidates prior to the EU ones , to give some room for Visa arrangements et al, since the deadline was February 28.

I'm a EU applicant, and received the confirmation about two weeks after I posted my application. Best of luck to you too!
Thanks for the information. I'd also like to share some info that i know of.
According to their email reply. all applications for UNIL goes to the central admin office where they examine them first and then sent to specific department for a final decision. i guess theres a massive number of applications each year and that's why it's taking them sooooo long. But hopefully once your application is sent to HEC it can be faster.
My application was registered Mar 15, which is pretty late. It is still at the central admin office for some "research on my degree". I just hope i can get the letter by the end of this month

I haven't received the second confirmation e-mail from HEC, either.

they contacted me today asking for a copy of my high school diploma and my activities since Jan 2014... which seems to be a little odd. Were any of you asked of the same thing? I don't know if I should take it as a good sign or a bad one.....
Anyway, my application got registered by them on Mar 15th. So i think anyone who sent theirs earlier should definitely hear back soon. Good Luck!
I received a PDF file a few hours ago saying that my application to the MscF two-year programme has been accepted and that my final admission might be subject to possible additional conditions!
I was a bit confused at the beginning whether this was an acceptance to HEC Lausanne or it is just confirming that my application has been forwarded to HEC for further considerations. It seems it's an acceptance to the 2-year programme *relief*.
I will be contacting them tomorrow morning to double-check, and ask about what the next steps are.

Congrats! sounds like you've been admitted! Could you ask them tomorrow when did they forward your application to HEC? so I can get an estimate amount of time that HEC needs to get a final decision. Thanks a lot!

Congratulations! The last Friday I received a PDF file saying I am been admitted to the MscM two-year programme. Despite it, it was written nothing about the confirmation deadline and the next steps. I am a little bit worried!

You will receive a second letter from the admission office where they give you the final confirmation to registration, the first letter (which says your admission may be subject to further conditions) comes from the faculty, but it is not the final confirmation to registration which is sent by Services Des Immatriculations et Inscriptions, also known as Admission office
