I'm currently enrolled in a bachelors in economics and management at the university of Geneva and I'm hoping to pursue a Master's in Finance at a top university in Switzerland. I know that HSG St Gallen is hands down the best school to go to but just in case they dont accept me, which is the best second option in CH ?
Also, I emailed a few of them and UZH has told me that grades aren't necessary as long as I completed my bachelors from a Swiss university, is every Swiss university going to accept or be more lenient on recent Swiss undergraduates ? Or is it mandatory to have excellent grades to be accepted?
For my main question, the Banking and Finance program at University of Zurich seems very appealing. Seeing as how it's the only Banking and Finance master in Switzerland a part from HSG.
I heard that HEC Lausanne might be less recognisable outside of CH however it's ranked around the top 30th according to Financial Times. I also speak French fluently.
Zurich however does not appear on this list, but does have the important ACCSB accreditation which HEC does not.
I know I am being very specific and nit picking on things but is there a difference in reputation/job prospects inside CH and out? I might come back to work in Geneva seeing as how my German isn't the best to live in Zurich but both master's are fully in English.
I checked around and Zurich has some pretty big companies visiting its campus such as Mckinsey and UBS. But Lausanne also has some pretty reputable companies.
Any help or guidance would be grateful.
