Nice to be back here, thanks to everyone who has revived this.
I have lived in Switzerland for more about 25 years. Was quite active on the englishforum almost since it was setup mainly to help newcomers to the country, like giving extremely useful tips like “those coloured eggs in the supermarket are actually boiled eggs”!! I’m not so interested in general banter and discussions though.
I’m happy to be able to use the same name here, but strangely when I searched for all my old posts, I seem to have been using a weird different name??
If you didn’t agree specifically to allow your name to be carried across, a random name was generated for all your posts. It’s the same random name for all your posts.
I’m not sure whether @Phil_MCR could do a find-replace on your name.
Because the change would be from an entirely made up word to your old username, there shouldn’t be the usual problems with these sort of things.
