If OP is not a native English speaker, perhaps she found us thinking we're an English-learning forum. It's more common than you think.
I wouldn't recommend anyone pick up English from EF posts though, it's a mish-mash of native and non-native speakers and we can be a bit lazy with grammar, spelling and punctuation.
