Hello from the Bay Area, California

Hi all,

I just arrived to Zurich a couple of days ago, and I joined this forum because it has already been of quite good use to me (when searching for certain activities).

I'm 26, and live in Palo Alto. I'm in Zurich for around 3 months for some work, and am staying in Oerlikon.

Welcome, Lazarus. I grew up in Menlo and most recently living in Sausalito, before moving to Zurich. The weather is a LOT more humid than the Bay Area, but the warm nights are great! Take advantage of any free time and use the trains to see the mountains. As much as I love Tahoe, the Alps are pretty spectacular...

We moved here last year from Cupertino, before that lived in Palo Alto, Yay! for fellow bayarea-ens!!! Good new word.. no?

Like fduvall said in his (her?) post... love Tahoe too, but the Alps are just stunning. Hope you can get to do some sightseeing.

Hey Grant, actually I work with IBM in Ruschilkon, but living in Oerlikon. That seems to have been a good choice on my end since Ruschlikon seems to be REALLY quiet.
