Hello from Wädenswil, Zurich

Hi everyone. We just moved to Switzerland from the US with my Swiss husband and our four-year old son. As we practice our Swiss (I have some ways to go), we would love to meet some English-speaking people in or near the Wädenswil area, especially anyone with children in our son's age group. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested.

Wädenswil is a typical outer-suburb of Zürich with lots of English Speakers. BUT most of them get around in Zürich downtown for entertainment and social life

Most of them don't actually - especially if they have children in the OPs age-range.

Waedenswil even has it's own cinema (albeit with most kids films in German).

It doesn't even feel like an outer-suburb of Zurich. It's a great little town it's own right.

To the OP:

Welcome to Wädenswil (we live in Au which is about a 10-15 min walk from Wädenswil).

There are loads of English speakers (U.S./U.K. and more) here with young children.

We have three boys - the younger two are 5 and 3.5 so feel free to send me a PM if yours needs a play date sometime or you need some info about Waedenswil.
