Help me get Paraben and sulphate free shampoo

Hi,

I didn't see specific thread for this. Could someone tell me the brand names of shampoo and conditioner available in any supermarket such as coop or migros which are paraben , sulphate and phosphate free because my hair is keratin treated

https://afroshoppe.com/

Would have these products.

Nature Box is suppose to be free of all that.

Its sold at Coop.

Yves Rocher is also very good- shops in every town - just ask staff.

Lush lists all the ingredients on its shampoos:

I buy my shampoos and conditioners online because I have trouble finding anything I like in the stores here (I have fine, dry hair) and I also prefer sulfate-free shampoos. I've been very happy with the shampoo / conditioner combo called "Macadamia Ultra Rich Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner" which are paraben and sulfate-free. Galaxus usually has good prices on them.

Otherwise, you might want to try looking at a store like Muller Reformhaus, which has a much bigger selection of hair products than Migros and Coop do.

Maybe take the time to read ingredients on the packaging......

You may try iherb. I like Babo brand generally, e.g. https://www.iherb.com/pr/babo-botani...z-473-ml/65067

coop sells weleda, they may be what you're looking for

Ok! We get it, you find this poster and her questions irritating so why don’t you just scroll on by and ignore her posts.

The ingredients lists are not always clear when they’re in a language you don’t know.

It can be quite difficult to recognise sulphate in the ingredients. "Sulphate" is not explicitly listed rather a list of chemicals that contain sulphate like "Lauroyl Isethionate", "Cetyl alcohol", Myristyl, Stearyl etc.". So the brand or store explicitly calling it out is needed.

The ingredient list in shampoos reads like a chemistry exam.

Indeed, not easy at all. There are many lists I've found, in French. This one is simple and easy to read, without translation

'Liste des marques de bons shampoings bio naturels, sans sulfates sans silicones et sans parabens

Les marques de shampoings bio internationales connues (et reconnues) :

Weleda;

Logona et SANTE : ont été récemment racheté par L’Oréal;

Lavera;

Helvetia Natura : très bons produits à un prix raisonnable, en format familial (Suisse)';

As said, Yves Rocher have got several too. Just go to shop and ask which. Weleda products are easily found too.

Apparently this is the reason I asked it out here. I first tried searching on coop and migros before asking it over here. I am still learning German. Thank you for understanding and supporting newbie

Agree ! Should be pro at chemistry . Composition name are different . Bit of a challenege

Surely will ask this. Thanks to each contributor to this thread very helpful you guys are

Also check out the app BTMB (beat the micro bead). As in how to avoid products with that.

PS: Weleda is great but really expensive.

Thanks for your reply. Great timing. I have been searching your profile a while now. I am finding very difficult to navigate this forum still learning. I have pm for you. Plz do check .

Thanks for app. Downloading straightway

btw, as you are new you may also order such items from amazon.de. Not all arrive but many do with free postage above 40 frs. I personally am not happy with weleda products but my husband does like one that's not available in coop and we order it from amazon.

also coop has from time to time 25% off either the entire cosmetic range or the more nature-friendly brands (they sell many in coop cities).

p.s. check also alviana - sold in migros and alnatura and cheaper

I order my hair care products from https://www.perfecthair.ch

They have most brands at reasonable pricing.

Just saw they have an ingredients option where you can exclude unwanted additives.

That's awesome ! Will check it out
