I'm looking to move to Switzerland in February 2023. I'm 18 years old, and I'm wondering how achievable getting a job would be. Currently I am living in Australia, and I have dual citizenship with Australia and Switzerland. Preferably, I'd like to find work in the French speaking region, as I can already speak French at around a B1 level. I have worked as a football referee for the past 5 years, but I have no other notable work experience. Realistically, what are my chances of finding any work. Are there many entry-level jobs that would suit my profile? How long would it take to find work? I have family in Switzerland, so I would be able to stay with them for a while, but eventually I will move into shared accommodation. Any response would be a great help. Thank you!
Hi everyone,
At 18 you could join civil service (the alternative to the military service), there are many subsidized jobs then to get that first foot in and learn the language better.
Have a look at UEFA https://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/careers/
Welcome to the forum, and well done for researching your options! Great that you’re a Swiss citizen.

Thank you for your replies.
Could working in fastfood or in local cafes be an option? From what I can see, this seems like my best bet at getting any work
