Size B is for a normal sized man.
Also just outside Berninastrasse tram stop there is another shop for designer office chairs and desks called Intrada. Other than that many retro shops in Zurich area as well.
Ricardo.ch and Ebay.ch have them sometimes Some come from Germany but it's complicated with customs... And you can't tell if they are real or fake till you get them.

From there the best would be to suggest that he call the friend who could discuss the details with him in German. The chair is being sold for CHF 1'200 but has been on the site for three weeks. You might be able to negotiate a bit.

Are you sure that the "B size" (one for sale) would be the correct size for you? Check the following chart to at least be sure.
My back side has been on it for couple of years and it still looks new and makes me sit on the PC for hours. Best money I ever spent.

The way I've felt most accomplished, or at least least ripped off, when hunting for furniture has been liquidation sales. As in, a company goes belly up, the vultures, me included, descend to pick over the remains. Yay, good chairs, nice tables, happy wallet.
Does this sort of sale happen here? What would be the (German) term to look for? Or is that kind of thing too unorganized, or pharma and banking just too stable..?
