Heya all once again from Portugal

I was once a lil bit active on this forum but went astray for a while, but I'm back.

I am an English teacher as a foreign language here in Portugal although I'm not working at the school anymore, giving classes privately now.

I am originally from the States and sure miss home, family and friends.

Looking quite forward though to being in a new place.

Seems like my move over is coming soon. It's the final count down for me about 2-3 months and I will finally be in Basel for good I believe.

Hopefully I will get to know some of you more and then meet up.

There is so much for me to do here in Portugal before leaving and so much to learn once I am there.

I have to admit I am quite apprehensive about the whole move but my boyfriend has told me repeatedly not to worry.

But I do of course.

I have today (3 pm) face to face interview and HR.

If everything goes well yes i will go soon.

PS: Since i won ́t take the laptop with me i won ́t watch the forum until Sunday. I will stay in Zurich until 6 pm of Saturday.

I adore the Alentejo region of Portugal, and the western seaboard from Sagres northward on the protected coast. Fascinating landscapes, esp Alentejo's rolling countryside and trees that can remind one of the Serengeti Plains if you squint your eyes only a little bit!
