I just bought an Intertronic hotdog maker on Ricardo, b ut it arrived without any instructions (I know, next time I will ask for them). I have asked the seller for basic instructions but haven’t heard back from her. I guess it would be quite easy to use and I could probably figure it out but since I am not terribly mechanically-minded, I was hoping someone could give me the basic principles of using these machines, as I haven’t used one before. The machine I bought seems pretty simple, with 2 metal spikes to put the rolls on and a container in the middle that comes apart where one would put the viennas and water into. Help would be appreciated.
You could go to an Interdiscount store (they sell Intertronic - their house brand) and open a box and read the instructions. Suggest you try an XXL one as they will have more choice.
You could take along an iPhone and take a picture as well (more discrete than a camera).
ok but if you fug up in building IKEA furniture you are pretty much scuppered...you have to take the whole thing apart start over.. there goes the afternoon.
if you fug up with a hot dog machine... you get another hot dog.
I thought the OP had bought a machine that made hot-dog sausages - i.e you put meat in one end and the machine turns it into sausages but it's nothing of the sort - it's basically a kettle with a dildo next to it.
Shouldn't this be in the incredibly pointless kitchen gadgets thread?
Thanks for all the very helpful replies. I did try to google it, otherwise I would not have run the gauntlet of all you witty people out there who can now all pat yourselves on the backs. I couldn't come up with anything in German or English though. But now I know it's from Interdiscount I'll try them.
