Hotels in Flims/Laax for groups

Thought I might see if anybody has any useful tips, just on the off chance.

I'm trying to arrange a week in Flims/Laax for a group of nine (8 from the UK), preferably hotel with half board. Aiming around the 3 star pricing level, or a chalet that could accomodate us all (not split). This is for the last week of Feb.

I'm in contact with the people from reservations at www.laxx.ch (who gave me a good list of suitable apartments), and have also had a look around www.hotelplan.ch , but I'm wondering if anyone else knows of any companies who could help, especialy if they can organise a group.

If anyone has a chalet, well, that would be interesting too.

why dont you try on the www.hotelplan.ch website the channel "ferienwohnungen" on the quick-search. they have lots of appartments and houses that they offer.

good luck

its probably not what you are looking for, but i always stay in the riders palace... www.riderspalace.ch

How do you like the riders palace? The pics on the web site look nice so just wondering. I ́m headed to Laax over Easter and will stay at riders palace for the first time.

Is there any good night life by the way?

well i like it a lot but its not for everyone.

if you take a dorm room its easy to meet new people, but you might also end up sharing with people you dont like.

music tends to go on late into the night so sometimes this noise can reach the rooms

great place though if you ask me, very nicely designed and friendly people.

not much else happening in laax, just one or two restaurants. night life is mostly at the RP. can be a lot of late teens around as well.

for boarding i think the area is great. RP is 3 min walk from the lifts.

Laax rocks, as does the Rider's Palace.

You do not have to stay in dorm there as the doubles and suites are also very reasonable. Make sure you email them for availabilty however as they are often available when the website says they are not.

I have taken big groups (16+ people) down for a couple of years and it never disappoints. For cheesy nightclubs the Casa Veglia next door tends to be where we end up. Just so you know where to avoid...

try interhome too.

Just emailed them this morning, eargerly awaiting their reply.
