I really want to watch house of dragons (maybe its rubbish who knows). Its on Hulu and Sky and AppleTV. I tested out apple and it seemed not in the "ch abo" (a bit like netflix, different content distributed). How does anyone watch something that is on Hulu or sky? Any tips.
A. The series is at least as good as the later part of the first season or two of GoT. The first three episodes of GoT were rough going. This is fully formed. Episodes just keep getting better.
B. I’ve read the book where this come from. The HotD is exceptionally well fleshed out.
C. With a decent VPN you should be sorted. We watched on HBO here in Switzerland as it came out weekly.
I think you’re mixing two things. The Battle of Winterfell was a very darkly shot piece, but the story wasn’t awful. This was in addition to the final season had some poorly written story lines, but the Battle was pretty cool. If you could see it.
My favorite battle in that series was actually the Battle of the Bastards, when Ramsay's army kept encircling and closing in on John Snow and the others. That was intense... For whatever reason, more intense (to me) than most other battles in that show.
I was actually never terribly fond of the dragons in GoT, as I felt like they were sometimes a bit cheesy (even when Daenerys got her revenge). So I'm actually hoping the dragons themselves don't play a huge roll in House of the Dragon. I think I might finally start watching that this weekend.
I hope HoD is easier to follow than GoT was. I think I wasn't finally able to fully understand the plot of GoT until around season three! So many characters... It was hard to remember who was who, who was f'ing who and who hated who.
I personally find HOD even more difficult in that regard because it's all interfamily rivalries and most of them have if not the same name, a variation of the same name.
