House of dragons

Friday thread.

I really want to watch house of dragons (maybe its rubbish who knows). Its on Hulu and Sky and AppleTV. I tested out apple and it seemed not in the "ch abo" (a bit like netflix, different content distributed). How does anyone watch something that is on Hulu or sky? Any tips.

Thanks

A. The series is at least as good as the later part of the first season or two of GoT. The first three episodes of GoT were rough going. This is fully formed. Episodes just keep getting better.

B. I’ve read the book where this come from. The HotD is exceptionally well fleshed out.

C. With a decent VPN you should be sorted. We watched on HBO here in Switzerland as it came out weekly.

Good luck.

I've also been wanting to see it, as I really liked Game of Thrones. I've been hoping that my hubby can stream it (that's also how I had watched GoT).

I hope the ending is better than GoT's was, though!

It’s got a four season story arc. The ending was already told by a drunken Joffrey in GoT. So it’s fine!

And if you can, see it on a decent screen, some episodes (one in particular) is shot very darkly. You’ll miss things.

You'd think they'd have learned their lesson after the battle of Winterfell

You can watch it by subscribing to Sky:

App is downloadable on any smart tv or if you have Swisscom …

Hopefully you weren’t daft enough to watch until the last episode like I was ... it took me ages to get over it.

Exactly the episode it gets compared to, yet I never had a problem with that one (watched at night in a dark room with a decent screen).

I think you’re mixing two things. The Battle of Winterfell was a very darkly shot piece, but the story wasn’t awful. This was in addition to the final season had some poorly written story lines, but the Battle was pretty cool. If you could see it.

My favorite battle in that series was actually the Battle of the Bastards, when Ramsay's army kept encircling and closing in on John Snow and the others. That was intense... For whatever reason, more intense (to me) than most other battles in that show.

I was actually never terribly fond of the dragons in GoT, as I felt like they were sometimes a bit cheesy (even when Daenerys got her revenge). So I'm actually hoping the dragons themselves don't play a huge roll in House of the Dragon. I think I might finally start watching that this weekend.

The dragons in the new series become characters. I won’t give more than that away, other than saying, it happens gradually.

Put your Serafe payment to good use and watch the whole series on RTS in English.

Okay... Thanks for the warning.

I hope HoD is easier to follow than GoT was. I think I wasn't finally able to fully understand the plot of GoT until around season three! So many characters... It was hard to remember who was who, who was f'ing who and who hated who.

Enjoying it on Amazon, but at 2,99 an Episode rather pricey. But I‘ll Stretch it out s few months.

Battle of the Bastards will always be my favorite! Still get teary when Jon Snow prepares himself to take on the whole army alone.

Sign up with NorsePlex ... you won't regret it. Everything you could want and more!

What is this about? Couldn't really tell from their web page ...

Would want a more detailed list of exactly what programmes they have before I’d do anything.

I personally find HOD even more difficult in that regard because it's all interfamily rivalries and most of them have if not the same name, a variation of the same name.
