Will be true, but it is not uncommon for them to pass on your details and bill you for that which they automatically redraw from the card. (had this happen myself a couple of months ago)
You're not understanding, the Bill is from Sixt for passing on the name & address of the Driver, the Driver has agreed to pay for such administrative expenses through T&C's. Nothing whatsoever to do with the police.
The bill is from the Schaffhausen police forwarded by Sixt. The German (!) bank account belongs to the Schaffhausen police not to Sixt. Sixt is out. They named the driver and are thus relived from all obligations (even if the law were not flawed). Policeman Mr Frei, knew that it was a person from China.
That’s all perfectly true but what FMF is actually saying is that Sixt may (and very likely will) charge the OP an ‘administrative fee’ for passing his details on to the police. If they decide to levy this fee they will simply charge it to the credit card provided to them by the OP when he rented the car. Nothing to do with the police at all.
True. Now I understand FMF. Blame the Glühwein . That is another issue. Sixt may also refuse to rent cars to OP in the future. Thanks to Mr Frei for this little tidbit.

Interesting. Is paying an Ordnungbusse as the registered holder really a Schuldanerkennung in behalf of the driver? Ordnungsbussen are anonymous and could be paid by anyone. Something for a law student or attorney at law.
I am pleased someone understands what I have spent 3 posts trying to explain. If you get any fines or have an accident the hire company will charge an administrative fee to the credit card you gave when you hired the car..
The way I understand the verdict, it doesn't matter what kind, or size, or business purpose that legal person is or has. Even a Verein will probably do, including the one curley, you and me will create for the sole sole purpose of holding the three cars we use. It doesn't get any simpler than that.
No, Sixt lacks the authority. They could admit being guilty themselves (that's not the same as Halterhaftung) but that would probably mean they can't charge the driver for the fine.

I just called the police and she has already reopen the system for my speeding ticket.

Finally i finished the online payment process. The police reopen the system for me after communicating with them. Paying the fine is not a lucky thing but it leads me to find this forum and all your nice guys.
