Thanks everyone for your advice, I really dont want to scare anyone and i do understand that putting his picture up could be seen as intrusive to him. Just really want to speak to him, he did ask for my contact details but due to circumastances i never got a chance to pass them on or even say goodbye, really frustrated with my self. So here is a discription his name is Matthieu his accent sounded french. he was in his 20s or early 30s.hair kinda of wavy / curly with side burns, tounge peircing and a black peircing under his bottom lip, and he was in Edinburgh on Friday 18 November this year (last week) a really kind, friendly, gentle guy and he likes Bob Dylan.....

thank you so much everyone has been so kind, if i never meet him again (gutted) i am defo going to Switzerland for a holiday, everyone has been amazing. Its not a top hat it was a black wool hat, he was so sweet and shy and would not take it off. But that piercing under his bottom lip which was black last friday must be something to go on and the fact he was in Edinburgh on Friday 18 november. spoke to my friends (who know me and know i am not the type of person to do this) said i should keep looking until christmas.
You would understand why i am doing this if you had met him, met alot of people in my time but he was very special.
