How long do you need to stay in Switzerland in order to apply for Swiss passport by Naturalization ? I studied in Swiss for 4.5 years (2013-2018) and now i have formed a Sarl to do my own business so i got a B-permit , so for how long more i have to stay in order to apply for Swiss passport ?
Dear All,
If not married to a Swiss/EU national 10 years, you need a C permit now to apply and must be well integrated into Swiss life, i.e. speak a Swiss language.
Hi Aziz,
You need 10 years + Permit C + clean record (no porsuits) + integration apart from mere language. Congrats on your B. Good luck.
BTW which part of India are you from?
regards
sva
You'll be asked the name of the country - and sadly fall at the first hurdle...
plus 2 years for the application to be processed.
In some cantons, the residents in your village would have to vote for you becoming a Swiss citizen.
Suggest you to check with your local gemeinde on the specifics. Good luck!
You first need to get Swiss citizenship, after which you can apply for a Swiss passport!

Isn't it "speak the local official Swiss language"? So no use being a fluent French speaker in Baselland.
Being married to an EU isn't relevant for Swiss nationality.
