How does it work if I own ZVV for all zones and I do for example Zurich-Chur no stop (assuming that even exists)
As the train does not stop within your covered region you need a ticket for the full trip.
We went to the ticket office and trusted in the competence of the clerks. Tbh, I do that nowadays. I've ended up with significantly cheaper tickets than online offer.
And then DB went on strike.
This used to be a thing though. I remember when we were young and had the U Abo in Basel, we could buy a ticket from Frick- Zürich for the IC whenever we went to Zürich. Would save us something like CHF 7.
They changed the rule about the train having to stop at the station you buy the ticket from sometime in the early 2000s.
