Hello dear ex-MP, ex-EF and other members…
I just realized there was an exodus from MP (why?) to here, but then I also realized I have an account here even, from mid-2025, and posts and whatnot… 
Did someone who knows care to elaborate what happened?
You joined, bashed your head and forgot about it?

the strange thing is I never had an email from this platform (and I’m not deleting emails), and I already had a username, my profile shows it’s just 2 days old (instead of 1, but anyway), but the first message from the bot is from 2025. And apparently I made a bunch of posts already, which must have been a copy-paste from MP or EF content crawled, maybe?
(edit: looking again, it seems this is an EF copy from the last decade and I’m not having posts, just replies to my old content)

I checked and you were not on the original user migration from EF and so you must have signed up on this forum separately (which is consistent with your join date) and forgotten about it. Your old EF posts would have been migrated under a randomized username.
How did you log on? Was your username/password already saved in your browser?
I clicked password reset after I saw my username was not available. Then I searched for my username in the search and saw a bunch of replies with my nick from pre-2020, so definitely a copy of… EF then?
Had I signed up last year I would’ve expected a welcome email at least in my inbox? 
Anyhow, welcome back EF peeps. 
maybe the message went to spam? there was a brief period when the email service failed and no emails were sent out so if you registered within those 2 weeks, then the email would have gone into a black hole.
