Electricity went out last week, clock is blinking a bunch of zeros and am too lazy to find the manual for the 99th time. Does anybody know off hand how to set the time on an old V-Zug oven.
Push and hold the clock button until the display starts to blink, then adjust hours with the knob, then press the knob to skip to minutes and adjust.
Which one is the clock button?
Only have 4. First looks like a bell, 2nd n 3rd are right pointing arrows and the 4th looks like a mutilated stop hand.
Somehow I remember having to press 2 of them at a time and then turn the knob.
Press the bell and the arrow at the same time, then turn the knob round until the right time comes up. when it gets to the right time press the knob in.
At least that is what works on my 12 year old oven.
Thanks Nixi! That worked.
Funny thing is can't find the manual online any more.
I have had exactly the same problem with my oven since the day I moved in, 4 years ago.
I tried a lot of options back then, but only succeeded in putting the oven on a timer...
Will try your fix - thanks!
Regards
Ian
I cheat ... I wrote down the instructions and stuck a post-it sticker inside the next cupboard door, as I can never remember how to set the oven time when the clocks change !!!
