Do you have any recommendations on how to find good and reliable accountants who are also proficient in English?
Also, any specific suggestion on how to find or where to look for good Financial Advisors?

More detail please. What Swiss permit do you have? If L or B then you’re taxed at source so would only need a tax advisor if you have other earnings, etc, that you need to declare. If on a C permit then it’s often a good idea to contact your local tax office as they’re often willing to help you fill in your tax return for no charge.

Sadly not. I’ve never needed one.
You need to be very careful here, the sort of protections for consumers about financial affairs that one takes for granted in UK are non existent here.
Some financial advisers claim to have such protections from FINMA ( Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority ) but usually turns out to be about money laundering nothing to do with helping to getting your money back if you get ripped off.
There are many different types of professionals offering such services here, often unregulated. Unless you provide more info, then you are unlikely to find what you are looking for.
Just hope you have a healthy bank account. Swiss advisors will bleed you dry!!
So omtatsat you are basically saying good financial advisors don’t exist here then. Marton said similar and is getting likes. Get a good accountant and chat to them. My work contact put me in touch with a good accountant. Ask what other clients do in your position. Have a meeting with a bank and chat to them, ask what other customers do. Come back and discuss with us. It ill be fun and our commission is lower!
