How to make $1000000 in Switzerland?

Two IT professionals living in Switzerland created this experimental website to fund their R&D projects. I actually know them

Take a look and share if you like the idea.

Challenge them and donate so that they can reach their next checkpoint.

Website: http://www.onemillioncountdown.com/

Video from the first event: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCjEbYQCHms

I see they've managed a whopping $6 in donations.

Perhaps it would be better if they explained some of the R&D projects they were actually going to be working on.

Looking at the website right now, it basically looks like they are trying to get sponsored for wearing silly costumes.

Sounds too woolly for me. Either I am giving to charity or I am making an investment with some possibility of a return on that. I am not exactly sure what this is??

It seems like I fund a number of R&D projects, potentially make these chaps rich, some charity receives 10% and they post a video of themselves bungee jumping off a bridge

Reminds me of the ad in the US which read "Send Your Dollars" - and people did...

Make $500,000 and double it. Easy.

I can't see the point. If they gave all the proceeds to selected, announced charities, then yes. But keeping 90% for themselves? Why should anyone give?

To help them make a million of course.

Even easier. Start with $2'000'000. Invest in something...

or as Branson once said: start as a billionaire and buy an airline

Trying make a million by running around in a rabbit costume.

I can't wait to find out what the next challenge will be

Easy, lose $9mio each year and i end up with $1mio,

I don't exactly see the ROI here.
