I have ordered a dumbbell using ricardo.ch but I am not sure how the payment works, I ordered with the price of 8 francs and it added another 8 for the delivery, but in the description it says that I have to pick it up from Luzern but I live in Zurich and it says so in my ricardo.ch account. Can anyone explain me how this works? I also read that maybe it will be sent to the post office and I have to pick it up from there. So far I have bought only things that were mailed to me. Used the bank details to transfer the funds, as described in the email.
If it says pick up only, then the 8 CHF for postage is incorrect. And then you ́d need to go to Luzern, pick it up and pay
5kg is quite heavy, 8CHF is a bargain it will cost more to collect them!
it seems to say Cash on Collection or Payment for postal delivery.
I would ask them for their bank details so you can pay both the item price & postal delivery price, remember to quote the Article Nr on the payment.
If you pay on-line ok, but if you pay at the Postal Counter you need to allow another couple of CHF for the processing.
