The hole digger on picture no. 2 shown by cannut is what you need and a bit of muscle. I used it effectively to dig several holes 80cm deep in the dirt when helping to build my uncles patio in the US. About 20 years ago. It's a right tool that will set you back CHF100 or less. Unless of course you build on a rock then it is whole different story.
