Can anyone help me out here, please?
I'm filling out my tax forms and the second page has "Revenu ICC" and "Revenu IFD". I tried googling, but couldn't find what that means, and the handbook that came with the form doesn't have it either. It's probably a simple abbreviation, but where should I put my income?
Impôt cantonal / communal
Impôt fédéral direct
you put your revenue in both. You pay tax on the level of commune/canton and also federal
Thank you SO much! So do I put my gross salary in both colums? Won't they tax me double, then?
no they will tax you only once
actually you get taxed on two levels one on communal/cantonal and one on federal level. That is done in one go and is one and the same declaration
