just use a regular beauty parlor like all the other women do don't see british women asking for an english beauty parlor or an aussie girl asking for sheila salons do ya
What would be different in an Indian beauty parlor, if you don't mind me asking? Maybe from that, people could offer you suggestions for regular salons.
Hi Swiss_Scouser, the only reason I asked for an Indian beauty parlor has been rightly pointed out by user rose1983 below, it is for shaping my eyebrows. My eyebrows are thick and difficult to shape and can only be kept neat by threading, which, as far as I have seen in the USA, is offered only in the Indian parlors. Other parlors offer tweezing and/ or waxing for shaping eyebrows.
Hi nobody_important, would you know of a parlor in Zurich/ Adliswil or roundabouts which offers threading as a service? That's the only reason I asked for an Indian parlor, because I know they offer threading
this is supposed to be a forum to help others. If you don't have an answer to someone's questions (swiss_scouser) then you shouldn't attack them with rude messages.
Catina I know a lady that does threading etc so just message me offline and I'll let you have the details.
Try searching "threading" you will find relivent info. You will find the prices insanly expensive here ... I actually taught myself to thread by watching Youtube videos...really rewarding
I myself dont know of any places that do threading, although, I just pluck them myself... Theres actually a lot of things that I have not done in Switzerland like go to a salon or a hairdresser, because Im afraid that due to the language barrier they won't know exactly what I am asking of them.
Anyways, Im going back home at the beginning of April for vacations... I plan on doing my regular stockpiling of Canadian goods that I cant find in Switzerland.
didnt intend to be rude only questioning what the purposes of a specific nationalities beuty parlor was considering most people are fine with the services of the normal local ones
I think you'll find that lots of woman would prefer going to a Beauty Parlor run by their countrymen. It's a bit of an intimate thing, depending on what your having done. Easy communication, knowledge of procedures that you've had before all add to the relax and being pampered experience.
I'd be there in a shot if I knew of a place run by a few Northern English lasses.
Theres a Gujju lady too that does threading, I have been and she was really quick and it was painless. very reasonable too. I will PM you number if you need.
It's just intellectual interest. The first time I ever heard about threading was in Betty Mahmoody's book, and I was always puzzled why people would choose that over a tweezer. But don't worry, i'll draw on your personal expertise the day I'll need to get them done.
