Indian restaurants in Bern

Kalpz Bravo ...

CURRY HOUSE - The best Indian Restaurant in Bern

I'm going there for 3 years now (weekly twice). The taste is excellent always. No doubt, it's the best.

Just try it, you'll like it...

I am really surprised by your remark! Sitar is owned and operated by Aggarwal Indian spice company. http://www.aggarwal.ch/

I have met Mr Aggarwal, he employs about 30 people in his company in Langenthal. Please tell me your complaints and I will pass them over to him, as I am taking 8 guests there on Friday 4th March.

I enjoy the Friday and Saturday Buffet, good quality and kept replenished up to about 9 pm. The toilets are spotless! http://www.sitar.ch/

.

I went to the Curry House tonight, as Kalpz says, it is the best curry around.

But it is really a take away place, the "Restaurant" is made from 3 cheap tables and 10 garden chairs, no style: but that is in style with a local place.

I would definitely go again. Very large portion of Lamb Muglae and a Sprite came to CHF 24. It is a pity there is no alcohol for sale.

Hi Ittigen...

To be honest, its the best place i have tried. I have never been to the place but always order a take away for home delivery.

Its on the Pricey side...but i guess that Switzerland hey...lol...

The South Indian in the Markt Halle is good too....

Way to India puts on a pretty decent lunch buffet. All you can eat. It's a pretty awesome deal considering going out to eat here is never a cheap experience. I believe it's around 26 CHF for the all you can eat option.

Downside is you must pay extra for naan... which isn't fantastic, but it's ok.

Go in hungry and get your money's worth...

I wouldn`t pay it. I get Dal Makhani next door to my flat in India for less than a franc. To pay upwards of 16CHF is silly.

You did try new restaurant Namaste India in bern i am always there for Mittag Buffet and for dinner.
