Also, do any of the squat clubs have websites?
Although not a squat, L'Usine is the other "alternative" center you want to check.
That said, I doubt you'll find much Indie stuff in Geneva (if by Indie you mean what it means in the UK), it simply is not a type of music that generates enough interest.

This particular site seems to list absolutely everything that goes on in Geneva and around Geneva, just look at what's on today:
I think I went to Artamis a couple of weeks back (I was quite drunk, so I can't remember exactly which club I ended up in )
Other than that I've seen some live music at Chat Noir which was great.
Check that Shayo night at Le Cabinet club at La Jonction chap, they seem to have an interesting night this evening, I would be down there like a shot me
Other one is the "vernissage" of the new Young Gods album, our "local" stars
Tell you what, I'm in gva week-end after next, I'm going to do some serious "research", looks like things have moved without me noticing!
If I didn't have to get up early tomorrow to fly to Cornwall, I'd be there like a shot.
Actually, radical leftie ska/punk (sung in French, Spanish, English, etc, etc) is quite popular with the rebellious yoooof at the moment in Geneva. My youngers mates at the football go to a lot of stuff like that, there is even an anti-racist festival organised at L'Usine for left-wing football ultras
Its always good to see anti-fascism stuff in action as well.
