Indonesian living in Lausanne

Hello everyone... I am an Indonesian living in Lausanne (exactly yesterday is my first year living in Lausanne). I found this forum very nice and useful for the one like me who just speak English (for now). I went to a club school to learn French for beginner and now i continue learn french by myself also with Italian and German. I like so much this place, it's very beautiful, everything seems to be in perfect order.

In Indonesia I spent almost all my time to work (since the last year of the vocational high school) in the hospitality area, my last position is a SPA Supervisor inside one of the leading hotel but now I am spending almost all my time at home. I tried many times to look for a job, I sent my cv to many agencies I found in Internet, but poor me, the limited language skill I've for now always locked me down. I found it very hard to find a job here without mastering French and German.

Any advices is welcome

My only advice is to keep learning French!

I have found my jobs on jobup.ch and can definitely recommend the website.

Merci for your advice Vachkiri...I've been using jobup.ch to find the job, many of the companies where I sent my CV replied to say that they'll contact me soon or just to say good luck for my future coz they got another one or even they gave me another link where I can apply for a job in my field..

U're right, I've to keep learning French so I can fulfill the requirement for the field I apply for.

Hi.. Welcome to this forum... are you from Bali? I'm from Mataram...so you live in Lausanne also, nice to hear that, Lausanne is a wonderful place for me, hope for you too

Hi 4Ni Ma, I lived in Java and West Bali, but now in Lausanne (suburb). I have a job now, I found it from 24heures newspaper. How about your french now ? still progressing ?
