anyone know if this can be added to ones RC?
If not, any recommendation who I can go to for this? Have contents etc on the RC - so just need this option somewhere.

talk to your insurance person as you may already be covered. Or, if the washing machine is not a fixed item and you're renting, you may never be covered.
But ask the person best positioned to give you the answer - the one who sold you the insurance you have now.
RC = ResponabiliteĢ Civile. Ask your insurance as Lob suggested.
From experience, we found that water damage was specifically excluded under our tennants insurance.
Unfortunately, we needed to pay to repaint the bathroom ceilings bacause the flaking paint was caused by water in the form of steam. A leak from our sink into our kitchen cupboards and bin area was also not covered.
