Joined almost 2 months ago but forgot to introduce myself -- sorry.
Hi all, nice to meet you.
Swiss, FIREd, based in Zurich (city).
I’m mainly here to correct @cubanpete on the use of quiet vs quite and live vs life …
More seriously, probably mostly be discussing stock picks and other securities trading stuff on the corresponding topic, but already came across other (to me) interesting topics, e.g. around cooking/baking, etc.
Anyway, looking forward to catching up with y’all.

So Mickey goes to court and pleads with the judge for him to agree his divorce from Minnie. He produces lots of witnesses and evidence why the divorce should be granted. The judge hems and haws and finally comes out with “I’m sorry Mickey, I just can’t do that and your arguments that she is crazy just isn’t sufficient.
Mickey responds. “No, no judge you misunderstand. I’m not saying she’s crazy. I’m saying she is f*cking Goofy”
Apologies to all.

As I once heard it (the joke) the doctor told Mickey his wife (Minnie) is not crazy but only pregnant.

Don’t feel alone @cubanpete. I also get confused between discreet and discrete.
In some of my publications, the data set is discreet. Indeed, so much, that I couldn’t get any significance out of it
