I may be a minority, but I think this is the first time I witness a 30 day delivery time for anything Apple…
There are some news about a big fire in an Apple supplier plant in India Fire halts production at Indian iPhone factory • The Register
It may be like that time hard disk plants in Thailand got flooded, and all laptops got SSDs because HDDs were too expensive.
ah, I missed that piece of news somehow… Weird coincidence just as they diversify outside China, huh.
Can’t believe they are installing USB-C technology in the non-pro models…that is just criminal.
Isn’t that an EU requirement that they objected to/
Yes, and they got handed a huge fine. So now all iphones have USB-C, but the non-pro models have a transfer speed that matches computers 20 years ago.
Am I only the one who do not a fan of this phone?
Apple comes out with new phones every, and every year they do a ‘major’ update to the iOS.
Early adopters flock to the new products as do teenagers who view the phone model as a status symbol. Also on the list are users that can’t use the new iOS ie those using most phones older than iPhone 11.
This demand fuels the second hand market with people upgrading their old phones. I’m in this camp. I have an 11 and it’s battery performance is under 70%. I may upgrade this cycle or wait another year as then I’ll likely won’t be able to upgrade to iOS 19 then.
We are a mac family and, for us, apple products work.
No, not at all
