I am thanking you in advance if it happens you to know what it happens after receiving an 100% IV (Invalidenversicherung) pension (not working anymore), from the point of view of someone on a B Swiss permit.
Will the B permit be extended? Would the person need to leave Switzerland at the expiry of the current B permit? Has anybody been in this situation before?

There is a provision in all the FMOP stuff to ensure that you don’t become a burden on the state. As you don’t already have a C permit, I’d imagine a critical point in your case would be being able to show you have sufficient financial resources to continue living in the state.

Your situation will probably depend upon whether you hold EU or non-EU citizenship.
